The large pale pink blossomed
'Queen Elizabeth' rose at the front of the house
now joins the 'Gertrude Jeckyl' in front of the living room window.

Coming to the end of its bloom the peony overhangs
the path already narrowed by a hosta on the other side

It seems that something new appears
every day at this time of year.
Here blue and white Campanulas
rise above the smaller plants.

The plan was to get the effect of the English Cottage Garden.
It seems to be working.
